damn man, 3 cranks and 4th topend in a year? somethings def wrong here, when ur puttin the cranks n top ends in are you sure theres nothing in the bottom end, and how do your plugs look? are they white, you may be leanin em out and sezin up the crank and blowing the pistons

yeah I know thats alot of parts. I have just had a run of bad luck. Every time one thing goes it eats the other. I have had skirts break and and cranks just wear slam the hell out. Gouged cylinder walls and once I know for sure it ran lean because of a leaking carb boot. I now have a trinity single carb set up and all new parts running at the right clearances. I should not see these pistons again untill my oldest kid is asking to borrow the car.. knock on wood

Running this twin with one standard piston and one +.040 is not the best idea. I would normally agree to sleeve the damaged cylinder and bore it to match the good one---but if I am understanding that the good cylinder was bored off-center, in the long run you are better to sleeve them both now. (.060-.080 is A LOT) :rolleyes:

I saw some people running different piston size here in Argentina. But this is because Atv parts are really very expensive here!!!

As all the guys said: I wouldn't run 2 diffrent sized pistons in my quad
