BansheeBandit
Please Help, My son was riding and my shee got hot, I took the waterpump out and there was nothing left but a shaft. I replaced the water impeller with a new alum. one. Now when I start her up it wants to pop through the exhaust. Can anyone help me out. Thanks P.S. It seems to be only running on one cylinder. The backfiring is coming from the side that does not make a difference when the plug wire is removed when it is running. BansheeBandit
nowusheeitnowudont, I replaced the plugs, drained the fuel, and flushed the tank.I have been trying to figure this out and I think it has been narrowed down to the coil???? I am getting good fire on one side. I can start it and will run on the right cylinder without the left side hooked up. If I try to fire it with the right side hooked up she wont fire a lick. I can switch plug wires and the other side starts to work. I guess it is a bad coil but I am not quite sure. Thanks Edited May 14, 2004 by BansheeBandit
@@banshee_rider@@
when you ride it do u feel a big loss of power? if yes i think you should get new pistons.

zilladude
Check the spark plug caps.
BansheeBandit
Thanks ziladude, I tested the caps with an ohm meter and the cap was bad on the left side. I went to the parts store shelled out 60.00 and replaced the coil and caps, now shee won't run on either cylinder.
