Justintoxicated Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I just purchased some billet intakes that do not utilize the crossover tube or boost bottle...What do you all think of this? Haha I guess it's a little late now, but I heard it will not make a difference. Opinions/Comments? Thanks, Quote
Indubitably Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I got sick of my intakes leaking shit all over the place so i did what Walter did. I just JB welded the things shut i only got a chance to go out once after i tried it, but i didn't even really notice a difference. Quote
MULLET~BOY Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 all it did is just make one less place for a air leak !!! Quote
reas11 Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 it .. dosent effect your performance enough to notice .. some people will argue it wont effect it at all .. its all good u wont have any problems . Quote
Justintoxicated Posted May 7, 2004 Author Report Posted May 7, 2004 (edited) well I bought them to fit my new carbs mostly, The crossover tube gets in the way of the large fuel filter I wanna put in there anyways so I guess it was a good decision then As long as I don't loose performance. They were cheaper than Buying rubber ones! Crazy! Indubitably I remember that crazy ass boost bottle you were using at Dumont heh I did not mean to type not in the title, but it appears I can;t fix it . Edited May 7, 2004 by Justintoxicated Quote
powerman350 Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 are the intakes connected or seperate? Ive seen intakes that are connecte and the cross over is inside, you cant see it from the outside. Quote
