Gargamel Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I cut the front fenders off after a bit of the fender melted to my gnarly's. Is there a support group for cutters remorse, or will it go away. The shee is lookin bitchin though. Look for a pic in images ( when I get the film developed) of pics Just $3000 more and she will be the way I want her. Thanx for the help HQ Quote
Screamin_Banshee Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 The remorse will go away once u ride it and get used to it. I liked being able to see my front tires when I rode trails/track. More so when someone was close, or the trail was real tight....just felt more comfortable knowing whats close to my front end. Quote

Otis Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I wanted to for the longest time, but didn't didn't because i was affraid i was going to F it up.... i finally "sucked it up" and cut 'em off a couple weeks ago.....no regrets!!! i think it looks 10 times better w/ out 'em!.. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I didn't realize how much those Dumbo ears blocked from my view of the sand in front of me. Once I hacked them I loved it. After I hacked the rears I liked it even more. Its like driving an open wheel roadster. Something about it is appealing. I have had a few people tell me it was either dangerous or "looked kind of retarded" I wear goggles and a helmet. Quote
banshees and beers Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 When I first got my shee, all my buddies cut em off for me. I guess I did not have much of a choice in the matter. Those big fenders do look silly. Quote
BenBB Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Stan, yours and Fixitrod's Banshees were the first I've seen up close with cut rears, and I gotta admit it looks great. Well, it looks great when it's sitting still, while in motion it looks like a pair of sand canons. Quote
sredish Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I finally did it Oh, I thought you were going to say you came out of the closet. Quote
