Stiff Up Front

Hey all,

Finally got my shee done and runs like a

Now the problem is the suspension. The front end is sooo stiff with stock 03 shocks. What out there can help me for a decent price? I don't race. Just trail ride. But, there has got to be something that can make it a better ride.

Yes. They are at the lowest setting. I go 195 lbs. and get the snot kicked out of me when trail riding.

well cheapest aftermarkets are either gonna be works shocks or yammy 450 shocks, the u got ohilins, peps, elka's and so on, check around and see what u come up with, money is a big factor in shocks

how do u adjust them , hahahah mine are the same way, how stiff are urs, mine are so stiff i cant move the front with my hands, i have to jump ont eh bumper to make it go up and down 3 inches

I got yfz450 shocks for sell. Those are good for it.

I think you might need a little grease in them a-arms

Mine are the same way. And compared to my buddies 250R, that sucks! They also rattle me pretty good going thru the whoops and similar.

What do you have to have for the shocks?

The arms are greased. I even made a set of delrin bushings and SST inserts before putting it back together. They have a nice fit. It's definitely the shocks.
