FoxBansheeRacing Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 I just noticed today that I am leaking tranny oil somewhere behind the sprocket guard on the stator cover. The oil on the dipstick looked dirty, so I'm guessing dirt is getting into the bottom end as well. Do you think its the seal behind the sprocket or the shift rod or whatever its called. I have replaced the seal behind the sprocket before and its not a big deal, is it basicly the same thing on the shifter? I will be pulling off the stator cover this weekend for a closer look... Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 check the lil o ring behind that piece of white plastic by the sprocket Quote

Rescuejeff Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Check all the spots where it comes thorugh the cases to see if the is a groove in the metal, if so a new seal might not fix the prom, maybe new parts time. Quote
1_bansheenutt Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I have noticed mine leaking as well since it has got warmer, I took my front sprocket off and its definetly the big seal behind the sprocket, are they a pain in the rump to put in? What about price and a good detailed way to install. Thanks, banshee nutt Quote
