mellow yellow
Okay, have a 2002 banshee, CPI inframes, play/race port and polish, v-force reeds, billet high flow manifold reed spacer. +4 advanced timing, cool head with 20 cc domes. Running a proflow 2 into 1 with a K&N, but don't have my air box anymore. I'm currently running 30 pilot and 410 main and it still seems hot? Anyone else have a similiar set up? Any ideas. I run dunes only, at sea level.

mellow yellow
I have no complaints. It runs like a raped ape! We got up early one morning, was very cool and brisk, shooting some technical hill climbs, running the piss out of it, and it got really hot. What was weird was it looked more like water than coolant? Just was wondering if someone else had a similiar set up and what they were running. I started jetting at 340 and went up. I had 420 in, but they felt a little boggy. If any thing, it seems a little boggy at the low end. Nothing really significant, but I'm always looking for more throttle response! When I had 380's and 390's in there, it looked darn near perfect. Went up to 410's just to be safe. Thanks for the input.
sredish
How do your plugs look with the 410 in it? If your coolant is no longer, then replace it with some Engine Ice coolant, it will run 40 or 50 degrees cooler than properly mixed auto coolant. Banchetta
I'd check your water impeller...they are known to fail once in a while....
