Dont know much about tires. But i just went to the store with my buddy to get some. He got sand stars on douglas .190 rims for his 450. He paid a lil over 200 for them, so i would say that the price is good.

RockyMountainATV.com has these for 139.99 regular price. I personally would not buy these. i had these for my first set and they only lasted a couple trips, not very much traction either. i only run skat trak haulers now.

not sure of the technical terms, but here goes..

What is a better paddle tire? one with an angled blade, or straight?

You could run those tires, but you'd be happier with something different. The sharks aren't a very tall blade so there's just not very much bite. Putting that on a shee that loves to spin wheels already means your going nowhere fast. Also, try to avoid 8" rims. Your handling will suffer tremendously - you don't see bus tires on a corvette. Personally, for general duning I like 20" Sand Stars on 10" .125 rims. The combo is light, cheap, and provides excellent duning! I run thin rims because I figure if I'm gonna bend something, I'd rather it be a $30 rim than a $250 axle. Most people agree that for all around duning a V-blade paddle is better, for straight lines (drags, hill climbs) your better off with a straight paddle. Either will work fine but V's tend to be a little easier to throw around.

I would go with the skat trak haulers they have the best hookup for your shee but if you are just playing around on small dunes then run a v-paddle. I will never run a V-paddle on my shee! If you need to turn with a staight cut paddle just hit the gas and turn it not that hard, just be ready for the front to come up depending on the sand and how you ride, or how much power you have. Its not a big deal that is what makes riding the dunes fun!
