Ducman I'm glad you had a good time, sorry I missed you on saturday but I was out their Sunday with some buddys we had a lifted ford (Black) crewcab and a black Dodge four door truck at our camp, and our friend with a all dark gray 4 seater rail was their too. What cooler is your Shee? We had one white one with red frame (fullbore plastics) and three blue shees and one red and black shee. you have to love going up a 700 foot hill and going up and over a razor back and heading down 700 feet as fast as you can with the sand all most passing you!!!! who's up for The Sand Mountain NV. this weekend!! The wind has been blowing all week the sand will be great! nice and smooth with razor backs that will scare the 2-stroke out of you blood!

I would go with the skat trak haulers they have the best hookup for your shee but if you are just playing around on small dunes then run a v-paddle. I will never run a V-paddle on my shee! If you need to turn with a staight cut paddle just hit the gas and turn it not that hard, just be ready for the front to come up depending on the sand and how you ride, or how much power you have. Its not a big deal that is what makes riding the dunes fun!

One of my buddys in our camp got care flight to reno on friday night came up short off a jump on his bike, broke his helmet in three spots. get this then he shows up saturday to hang out!! looked somebody beat him with a brick.

sandnureyez, I'm heading out early saturday morning. I would like to go friday night but i have to much work . I will be driving a early 90's chevy truck blue & white with a red halmark enclosed trailer with a airplane logo on the side. In the camp there will be a lifted crewcab ford (black) with a weekend warrior and some others but i don't know what they are going to bring. I will have my banshee and my girl will have a 400ex plus there is about 6-8 banshee in our group. hope to see some of you their. Chris

I go to the Mountain about 2 times a month weather permiting of course, I think the word is out about how nice the Mountain is and the sand worshipers are coming from all over.

I'm running 280 mains and it runs perfect had to run 300 at Dumont plus i run 50/50 race-pump gas the elevation is about 3,500-3750 get the jetting guide and talk to others to what would be right for your quad. ya, if anybody wants to plan a mini roostin fun party at Sand Mountain let me know I would be thier in a flash A weekend trip would be perfect for me Ducman just let me know when your planing a trip and I will meet you there, and get some true big dune riding in!! This weekend is going to be in the mid to high 70's perfect.

yes, you can get to the Mountain in a car just whatch out for the sandy ares their is no improved camp grounds and no water. There are a couple shit shacks and dumpsters but that is about it if you go on a off weekend you will have no problem finding a camp spot. so come prepaired water. etc. etc.... if you do head over here let me know! My girl and I will go out for the weekend plus i have about 6 other banshee drivers that love to go and play, we will show you the good spots and maybe a little party too. I would like to get some type of roostfest at Sand Mountain about this time of year, it would be perfect riding temp. and a good time BBQ, party fun fun. Chris

Ducman, Sand Mountain is great this is my home away from home. Their is a $20.00 fee at the end of the road before you enter or $45.00 for the season. As far as camping this weekend is going to packed if you don't mind campimg 5 feet from other people you will not have a problem. make sure you have your flags it is a $50 fine if you don't have one and they are on the whatch. Their is pleanty of riding just DO NOT ride in the trails with red polls blocking them these are closed trails they will give you so much shit you will wish you had not even learned to ride. Dirtbike killer has his directions wrong!!!! go toward fallon and stay on Highway 50 East!!!!!!! Do NOT GET GAS AT THE GAS STATION THAT HAS LOGS HOLDING UP THE ROOF ABOVE THE PUMPS THEY ARE TRYING TO SHUT DOWN THE MOUNTAIN. STAY ON HIGHWAY 50 EAST THROUGH FALLON IT IS ABOUT 25-30 MINTUES OUT OF FALLON IT WILL BE ON YOUR LEFT AND YOU CAN NOT MISS IT. I have the PWR radiator too and i love it, the quad never gets hot, looks great what else would you want? I had to trim my radiator plastic cover to fit mine but that was my choice, I did not want the plastic to rub on the radiator.

I think i remember this wild426 guy, he must of thought he was a rock star the way his hair was black with some blonde shit. Plus he was wearing those stupied Elvis style glasses at night, and some funcky disco clothes like you see in the sand dune movies of people all wacked out on something. All I know is he showed up out of dark starting shit with everybody he could, sad thing is he was the size of a little girl! I guess you have act big to look big

I have to agree with wild426 I thought it would of been a little better then it was. I did have a great time though, on friday the back dunes were like a hot knife going through butter it was great. I did see the titties he was talking about and they were the shit. I did like meeting the east coast riders and you guys have some nice trucks and trailers, and some really nice quads too. I have to take my hat of to the drivers who transported quads from the east coast that was a really nice thing to do.

I should be their Thursday late afternooon if not friday morning, I will be driving early 90's chevy 1-ton blue & white with a blue bike in back. I will be towing my 7x16 Halmark trailer red with a big airplane and company logo on the side. There might be a 28' Weekend Warroir with me towed buy a Lifted black crew cab Ford. I have a 2002 banshee with T5's, milled head, v-force reeds, K&N pods, Vitos super stock pistons I am running a 13 front /41rear sproket and i am top out in fourth up a 650foot sand dune (Sand Mountain NV) it bogges into 5th do you think a 43 rear sproket will get me into 5th gear. Elevation is around 4,700 feet it runs real good I can beat about 75% of the hill climbers at the Mountain

Their is no fee to get in Dumont but you should have a California green sticker, I think they are about $20.00 per quad. No running water make sure you bring plenty of water (or beer) the shitter is a hole in the ground with a storage shed around you.

I'm new the group but I ready for a Dumont trip, party of two maybe six getting ready to show you east coast boys how to ride real west coast dunes lol lol , I have been their three times it is worth the drive! The one and only Sand Mountian, Nevada is the steepest tallest single standing dune in North America. It is about 650 feet and is great for drags, none of this flat drag stuff! Thier is nothing like coming up a razorback, then dropping all most vertical down 600 feet, hit the gas and hang on!
