sredish Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 I use Silkolene Comp Gear. *A race proven, synthetic based gear oil for off road competition bikes. It is also ideal for road and race machines with separate gear lubrication. *Effective over a wide temperature range, it gives smooth gear changes, postive clutch action and reduces wear, especially where aluminium clutch plates are used. *Can be used wherever SAE 10W/40, 80W or 90W oils are recommended A lot of people use the ATF and some use 10W30, but I like something specifically designed for the wet clutch application. It may be nothing more than a sticker on the bottle and higher price tag, but it makes me feel better. Quote
