Pod Filters Or Single K&n

Recommended Posts

i ride dunes only in oregon and currently run a k&n in the box no lid and sides trimmed down 1" was just wondering if this could flow enough for the stock carbs on a portted moter with shearer inframe pipes or do i need to buy pod filters? I noted that some people on here with 4mil trokers still running a k&n in the box but extended another 2" futher back?

I know you said you would be riding in dunes the whole time, but if you EVER might be riding in water or any wet conditions I would consider a Uni foam filter. I used to have a K&N clamp on and I would go through a puddle and my engine would bog down from the filter getting wet, so I got a foam filter and I can ride in the rain without a problem now.....
