JasonGOSU Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 There's an O-ring that is between the end of the silencer and the silencer tip. Is this a special O-ring or can I use a regular O-ring? Quote
sredish Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Any oring of the same diameter should be fine. Quote
Holyman Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I'm sure the original o ring is silicone. Quote
spoin39 Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Just call Toomey, they should send you one for free. I have broken the rubber silencer mount several times, and they always send me new ones for free! Quote
JasonGOSU Posted April 13, 2004 Author Report Posted April 13, 2004 I called Toomey today. Very nice service, but they do not send anything for free. The O-Rings are 3.00 a piece. My mounts are starting to go also and those are 12.99, not free. Quote
checkster Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 DUDE, just go to the hardware store and get an o-ring. any material will do for the heat range you see at the tail pipe. it you must have silicone, go directly to the sink and faucet isle in the hardware store......dont waste 3 bucks plus shipping on a 50 cent part. check Quote
