Banshee Blowing Up Head Lights

help I just powder coated my banshee and built the motor took it to sandlake and it ran awesome but the fist night my head lights were really brite the next nite the burnt out I replaced the bulbs with new yamaha ones and five minutes later they blew again so I put a different regulater in and ground the powdercoating off were it mounts and blew a set of bulbs again I have a stock stator any helpful advice would be appreciated

either the voltage regulater has come unplugged or the ground isnt good. scrape away some of the powdercoat away from the frame and where the ground wire gets bolted down. should be good as new after that. pm me for my number if you want i can talk the process over the phone.
