38mm Carb

Had a post before but think my carb won't work was wondering if a 38mm carb would be to big for a 2 into 1 setup? specs are as follows

bills pipes. mx port, +3 timing advance, ported cages with boyseen reeds, shaved head 30thou, air box no lid

reason for asking is I have a mikuni flat slide didn't use it originally thinking it was total over kill

I mostly mx with a little trail riding.

Sounds a little big for good low end and trail riding, but with your supporting mods I'd be tempted to try er out. Might kick some ass in midd to high end.

hell yeah I'd try that shit out. When I get my junk ported and cranked, I'm looking at trying a 39mm or around there. Don't know how it'd work out, but I'd sure as hell like to have some input.

 

I imagine the mid and top would be ruthless and I bet you'll have some good low still. Give 'er a try.
