Back Fires And Lagging

i just put a motion pro twist throttle on my 87 banshee and i removed tors while i was at it, but now my bike back fires when warming up and isnt very snotty comin out of the corners on the track i was thinkin that maybe i didnt time the slides together because that could cause problems right??

that could be your problem. check your cable where it V's off to the carbs and make sure there in there even.
