Holyman Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 A friend of mine said he can get a purple and white YZ 80 for $400 that doesn't run. I haven't been into bikes for a long time {last YZ I had was an 81 }but I'd like to get one for my nephew when he gets a little older so this might be a good time to buy. I'd just like to have an idea what year it is. My friend says it's about the same purple as my 95 Banshee. Quote
Otis Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 Here's a link to a site w/ model year and pics.... 94 looked to be the only purple and white in there.. YZ pictures Quote

MULLET~BOY Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 sounds like a good buy any of thoes 80cc bikes long as there newer then 1990 there good lil bikes Quote
Holyman Posted March 29, 2004 Author Report Posted March 29, 2004 Yeah he said he kicked it a million times and wouldn't pop but I'm not surprised about that. He doesn't know much about bikes and it had been setting a while. He said it kicked freely so at least it's not a melt down. Heck for that price I can top end it and have it ready for junior a couple years early. Aferall he's only 6 Man I wish I had an uncle like me when I was 6. Although if he was, he'd only be 6 too Quote
blk02banshee Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 My friend had a YZ 250 that was originally purple and white. had some teal graphics and shit too. It really looked gay, so he painted it. IT was a 1995, though. Quote
