Yea if you take it out it will allow your engine to rev higher. Make sure if you take it out that you seal the hole up with some silicone or something. Either that or just leave the bolt in it.

you guys are all kiddding right <_< ???? dont just remove it !!!!!! it is there so you dont overstretch the cable unscrew the nut and loosen the bolt then push the throttle to wide open dont push so hard you are stretching the cable . now turn the bolt in till it just touches the throttle arm inside cover p.s its easier to open cover and see inside and its only 3 bolts . then turn the nut down to lock it in place .

Exactly!!!! Your throttle cable won't last very long if you take that screw completley out.
