doltz
What is the best method to redo stock a arms? I think the heat of a powdercoating oven would crack the ball joint???
Foobie
I pulled the boots on the ball joints, wiped them off then tapped them off. Sandblasted, primed, and painted. I then put the boots back on with little zip ties. No problems yet. Came out great. Dustin

wansomordis
I had my bottom stock ones powdercoated... One ball joint got melted so had to have another one done... I then drilled the bottom of them and put in a grease jerk to fill them back up..They have been on for about 2 years and are nice N tight.. However If I had known that at that time I probably would have just painted them..(I was a lucky one)...Oh I just resued the metal retainer thing too
