Stupid Z400 Pain In My Ass

does any one know where i ca find some z400 cases kinda cheap? they are like 600 brand new i really dont wanna spend that but it looks like i am screwed into doing so. stupid 4 strokes so damn expensive to fix. i want my shee back damnit. if ne one knows some one with cases or where i could get them cheaper than 600 clams s apreciated.

i think your screwed, did you ask any shops around you if they could weld it?? Theres a snowmobile shop up here who sends them in and you can have the crack filled up. Not even 100 bucks either i dont think. I think you need the pieces though.

yeh i am nasty1 on there i looked around thought i found a guy that had a set yesterday but it was a no go he had the wrong ones. it sucks because they dont sell case halfs from what i have been finding.

welp one fo the guys from z400central helped me out and gave me a number to another place and they got the cases for 470+shipping. so it looks like i am going to be going there.

F@#k that! Take 5 bucks and get yourself some plumbers epoxy. It's like playdough that dries harder than steel. I've used it on car motors and oil pans, and never had a problem. I think it's at least worth a try before dropping 500 bills on some new cases. just my $.02

i would but the problem is i bent the shift shaft so the cases are coming apart regardless and i would rather fix it the right way. even tho it is bullshit.
