sdshee Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 I was wondering what would cause my Banshee to idle high . Its an 04 with maybe 25 hrs on it. It just started idleing high and I was wondering if temp had anything to do with it.....Thanks Quote
sredish Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 cooler air is denser than warmer air, therefore, cooler air will richen a fuel mixture when compared to warmer air. that doesn't mean that's your problem, but you might need to bring your idle down some with the idle screw and if it's idling a little funny then adjust your air screw. svtkid78 Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Also check to make sure you have enough freeplay in your throttle cable. Quote
banshee tuner Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 You could also have an airleak around yyour intake gaskets or balance pipe which is leaning it out. You need to find the problem before you ride anymore incase your lean. Quote
