I am wondering if this has ever been settled? I am looking to buy a banshee that has a boost bottle on it and I have heard that they do give some power, some say they loose power, some say they dont really do anything.. What do all of you think??? should I take it off and sell it on ebay or just leave it on and forget about it?? Thanks in advance

I heard that the one local shop auctualy takes them off any quads they get in (that they buy not like stealing them off what their workin on or anthing) and will sell them for like a dollar if you ask, so appearentaly they must not like them

It actually works like a capacitor in an electrical circuit. It's supposed to make throttle response quicker but it doesn't make any power at all. The only people I've heard of that notice any improvement with one are people that are on and off the throttle in lower RPM situations.
