I just got my new tires on today, Maxxis Razor rears and maxxis front pros. After like 2 minutes of riding in the field i decided to do some wheelies. I start out in like 2nd gear and start riding one and when it started going down i hit it and it flipped hardcore. The grab bar dug into the ground and then sent the bike sideways and upside down. Normally the rear tires would just spin when i hit it like that but the new tires and frozen ground are a deadly combo lol. It freakin hurt my leg a little, broke the rear plastics and dismounted my brand new tire. I was able to get the new tire on but now its off camber and i think the J-arm is bent argh. Either that or its something to do with the spindle. Lucky i was wearing a helmet, and so should everyone else even if they are just taking it easy.

Somethin similar happened after mounting a new pair of maxxis all-traks. Got 'em on and had to go for a ride. Came to a turn where I usually nailed it in 2nd, instead of powersliding/ripping the stockers, the fronts no longer made contact which meant poor steering  Ended up bailing off the shee just as it decided to check out a tree.....I biffed, glad to be wearing a helmet!! Shee ended up with slightly tweaked handlebars, a bent foot peg and plastic stress marks for the record.

Good to know yer alright and that the shee survived!

Yea I'll be taking the front suspension apart today to see what the hell i bent on it. It's very slightly off camber and the J-arm is hitting the shock. Hopefully nothing too serious. I dont think my knee is in all that great of shape though, might have to go to the doctors or just rest all day. I hate doing nothing though

I've done the same thing twice and the last time was with Maxxis Razrs.

The last time was also in 5th or 6th gear on pavement. Bent a front rim a little, dismounted the tire, bent a front shock, bent an a-arm, and bent a tierod. I haven't tried walking it in such a high gear since. :shootself:
