banshee04le Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Man my POS mouse does not roll very smoothly anymore. I don't see any couch crumbs up in there or anything...any way to lube it or should I just throw it in the trash and hassle with getting a new one? It's really been pissing me off. Thanks. Also, while I am at it...totally different subject but when I had to get a new computer a few weeks ago, I set it up and could access bhq without opening my internet explorer for the first couple of times. Then, like the next day and ever since then, I get this screen that pops up that says "Plesk Proffesional" and says that I am having problems trying to access this site because #1 Hosting not configured or #2 No such domain register in Plesk. Then it says "please contact [email protected]" I am afraid to "contact matt" for fear of completing some pathway to enable a virus or fu@k I don't know. I did e-mail him from my computer at work that I was leary of his intentions and he responded that "Plesk is server software and that there is a problem if I am getting that pop-up and that he needs to know what site I am trying to access when it pops up before he can help me". I can access the site by opening my internet explorer so it is a minor inconvenience at best. Should I co-operate with this guy to resolve this matter or what do you think? Sorry for this long as post. Help with either problem would be appreciated. Quote
sweetshee4312 Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 get a laser mouse, u can get em for 10 bucks, best money my mom ever spent on the computer hahahahahaha:) Quote
. Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 yeah, I love my infared.....Just lean back and have it on my leg, or couch or anywhere I wanna use it. And you dont have to worry about cleaning them.....Just dont drop it alot....they tend to break if you do that.....mines held up to a beating pretty good so far though. Make sure you get one with a click roller between the 2 buttons....makes scrolling a million times easier Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 yea i had the same prob with my mouse so i got a lazer one, when you pop the ball out did you check the rollers to see if shit got stuck on there, if it did take a knife and scrape it off Quote
MotulMonsta Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 Yup Lazer's the WAVE of the future man! No longer limited to cheasy mouse pads. They hold up well, I had one in the desert..Had tents fall on it, gobs of sand from all the sandtorms..still going strong..My cd-r is another story. Quote
banshee04le Posted March 15, 2004 Author Report Posted March 15, 2004 Thanks. I'm gonna get one next time I'm around a place that sells them. News to me. Shit, the computer I use at work doesn't even HAVE a mouse...not because it is so advanced, because it is so damn outdated. Might step up to a 486 next year. Quote
