270 main, 25 pilot, 3rd clip position on needle, half turn on adjustment screw. i had 310 for main b4 and 2day i changed them to 270, after i had everything back together i started her up and the right cylinder was puffing more then the left one. wut could be the problem?

I'd run 280 mains w/ the lid on and 300 mains w/ the lid off, stock pilots, needles in the 4th or 5th clip from the blunt end...try both and decide...the reason one smokes more than the other is because your carbs aren't in sync anymore....you should sync your carbs after you pull them apart..

I'm running 300 mains, needle in the 5th clip, stock pilots, K&n no lid....0 elevation and temp range of 40-80 degrees....I'd do a plug chop, you might be a little lean on the mains..make sure you run it wide open in 6th gear before you pull the plugs...
