je90z Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 I need to get some new tires,I am leaning toward Maxis Razers. What size rear wheel is best,a 9" or a 10",or does it even matter? Quote
evil Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 over all tire diamiter matters, it messes with the gearing and speed of the shee. what type of riding are you doing ? Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 i wouldnt go with a 10 inch rim. there seems to be alot more tires out there for a 9 inch rim. with a 9 inch rim you are gonna get more sidewall and if you are runnin in the trails and shit, thats what i would get. i have 10 inch rims on my predator and i have popped tires off the bead before. i dont know if its because there is hardly any sidewall with a 20 inch tire or what, but its a pain in the ass. stick with 9 inch. je90z Posted February 18, 2004 Author Report Posted February 18, 2004 I ride alot on gravel roads, street, packed dirt,& sand. Quote
joshp66 Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 i think the 10s with 18s look good but i duno whats better, i have 20s on 9s right now, what dose everyone like better 20s or 18s?? Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 depends what your doing, for tracks use 18 for light trails use 20 for some hardcore stuff use 22's i would use 9 inch rims for evrything except for 18 inch because theres less tire so the smaller the rim the harder it is to bend Quote
limitied03 Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I got razors 20x11x9 on douglas rims....i love'em and i ride a little bit of everything..... Quote
