hello everyone. im new here but have been riding a timberwolf for about 7 years. im thinking about buying a banshee. i need some advise on what you guys think would be a good price. i seen a ad in the paper the other day. 2002 yamaha banshee. it had about 35 hours of use. all stock, came with a trailer. a set of $100 rims. only a few scratches and well taken care of. im thinking once i sell off the rims and the trailor i might get it for about $3000. does this not sound like a deal or should i keep waitin for a better deal? im really not in a hurry to buy one right away. i really dont have a whole lot to spend. any advise would be great, thanks

You have to know your area. $3000 for a 2002 sounds good to me but if you're planning to get $2000 for the trailer and other stuff, that may not be realistic. Scan ebay or cycletrader.com and see what other quads are going for and in your area. You also need to make sure the banshee isn't beaten to death. I've seen quads a couple years old that look worse than OLD quads. So make sure you know what to look for and be ready to buy that good deal when it pops up.

3000 for a 2002 sounds like a pretty good deal to me, especially if its all stock. that way you know what you are getting and can mod the shit out of it yourself. personally id rather get a stock one and do the work myself, just because i know whats done to it. you can prolly find a 2001 or 2002 on cycletrader thats got some mods for that price. it all just depends on what you are looking for. you wanna do some wrenching yourself and make sure its all done how you want it, or do you just wanna buy something and ride it??
