like i said i used a hacksaw and a razor blade....i think they're worthless...i havent got hit with any rocks yet ...i get a tad bit more mud in the face but thats why goggles were invented....they look way better cut even if its a stock bike

also after you cut them you can sand them, then hit it with a heat gun to make the fine white marks come out of the cut. looks smooth as ice when its done.

You could also fab some brackets to re-atach your front fenders to the quad. It works best if you cut them at the body line where the fender curves up and away from the tank. Bend some flat stock steel or aluminum to match the angle and drill holes to match the bolts for the front bodywork and through the fenders to attach the brackets too. When you do it right all you have todo to re-attach your fenders is to back out the bolts that hold the fender at either side of the tank, slide the bracket back in, screw the bolts back in, re-attach the fender supports to the frame (they can be left attached to the fenders). It only takes like 5 minutes to have fenders again. I'll try to get some pics soon to better describe what I'm saying.
