nickxc
:?: I put new holeshots and rims on my banshee this spring and I have noticed one of them wearing out a lot faster than the other. I ride a lot of roads and I thought that would be normal because sometimes one tire is on the pavement and the other is in the dirt but it is the one that would be in the dirt that is wearing faster. and I don't let that happen very often. I usually try to keep either both on the pavement or both in the dirt could this have anything to do with my high speed vibration that I mentioned in earlier posts :?: :?:
THX-1138
if one tire has more air PSI than it is bigger and will drag the other tire. other than that maby you got two differint rubber compounds. I have holeshots on my R and they have worn evenly.
nickxc
I think my air pressure is at least very close. it doesn't pull or anything
'99350t
nick, thats on a banshee right? make sure your axle adjusters are in equally far, something is likly bent, mine does that too with my fast trekkers, but my is light that because i screw around on the roads(donuts, burn outs, etc.)
nickxc
Is there a special way to make sure that my chain adjusters are equally adjusted??? is there something I can measure or something???
Screamin_Banshee
You can measure easily (sp?) all you need is a ruler, or something straight and flat and a tape measure. Place the ruler on the backside (farthest from motor) of the axle, and measure from the swingarm bolt. Do both sides and make adjustments needed....hope maybe this helps
