00ShEeKidD1 Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I have the opportunity to pick up some 19-6-9 holeshot mx fronts on blue label rims, now i know the name says MX and they are smaller than stock , but will i be able to get by with these for trail riding? Short on cahs, let mw know wut you think Quote
lucky13 Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I THINK THEY WOULD BE KINDA SHORT YOUR FRONT END WILL SIT LOW UNLESS YOU HAVE 18'S IN THE REAR BUT STILL FOR TRAIL RIDING YOU WILL BE BOTTOMING OUT EVERY WHERE Quote
fixitrod Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I wouldn't worry to much about the front. The front sit a little high on a banshee anyway. If they are cheap enough.... go for it. You will loose a full inch on ground clearance though. Quote
lucky13 Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 IT WILL LOOK LIKE A MONKEY F**UCKING A FOOTBALL Quote
spoin39 Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Stay away from them for normal riding. I bought a set of 19" fronts for MX and they are so low I bottom on the face of some jumps. Go with at least 20" but I would stay with 21" for play riding. Quote
evil Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 21 is the smallest i would go for trail riding. 22 or the new 23's would be ideal. if you ride alot of flat trails that dont have alot of obstickles then the little tires would probley work, but rocks, tree roots and stuff that will catch, save up and get bigger ones.
