I2fast4U Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 OK well a about a week or so ago i posted that i couldnt decide whether or not to sell my car and get a shee well i decided to keep my car and a good freind of my fathers has an 87 cr125 that we are gonna pick upnext friday. It will be used mostly has a play bike and trail riding and i know a 125 isnt the best choice but i figure i get modd it to make it better. any suggestion that wont cost me a lot of money would be great. Wassup350 Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 My stepbro had an 87 CR125 it was pretty sick, he had a pro circuit pipe on it, i'd get one of them and maybe if the tires aren't that good get some of them. Also since its so old check the compression and just make sure the engine doesnt need to be rerung before you start modding it. I'd just do stuff like that to fix it up so you have a solid bike that can be modded. Quote
I2fast4U Posted February 8, 2004 Author Report Posted February 8, 2004 ya it has good compression it was just rebuilt and doesnt have 10 hrs on the motor like i said the guy that owns it is a really good friend of my dad so i know it is in good condition. and the tires still have about 90% tred left so i am good there. any more info would be great.
