n41banshee41d Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 hey guys iv got the shee motor out and ready to build here is what i want to do bore .40 over to fix cylenders wiseco piston kit nos head with 19 or 20 cc domes adjustable timing plate new cluch kit aluminum water impellor trinith 2 into 1 cv carb dyno port 2 into one pipe is this a good set up if i run it on vp race gas? now i wasnt gonna weld the crank but some one said i should ??? do u guys really think its nesassary?if so y..should i have a port job done and if i do will it benifite that much with the set up i have and what whould a good degree to run the timing plate on???any help would be great im really worried about the crank and haveing to tear the bottom end appart so any imput on that is great thanks Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 setup looks good, for the crank, get it trued and welded and you'll never have to worry aobut it coming apart, a mild race port n polsih would benefit you alot, and i'd look for something besides stock reeds to run to, good luck, what are you doing for suspension because we all know thats the most important part Quote

IMO, you can be faster on a stock, well suspended shee, than a hopped up shee on stock suspension. Make sure to give that dept. a consideration if your going to mx. Quote
