Dextreme Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Nitromethane is something that can be added to Methanol. It doesn't mix with gas. I am not sure on the timing, but I know you have to get much bigger jets and there have been plenty of blown motors with people toying with it. I does make lots of HP though when dialed in. Quote

drag-350 Posted February 2, 2004 Author Report Posted February 2, 2004 i have ran methanol for two years now. i know pretty much how it work's so i thougt i would try nirtomethane i have read a lot about it& how it can be mixed just haven't heard about what to set your timing on....and that was the first time that i have posted anything on here . sorry about that . drag-350 Posted February 3, 2004 Author Report Posted February 3, 2004 i will post it on planet sand and see if anyone can give me some info on the timing.i run my timing on 6 right now maybe all try it like it is.you said you run your timing on 8 i have heard of guys runing a higher timing . but i haven't tried anything more then 6. i will try runing mine on 8 and see if it help me on menthanol. thank's for the info Quote
