bizanchee Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 hey guys, im just looking on some basic information of a stroker motor. I want to go fast, and i feel a stroker motor may be the way to go. what does it consist of, what exactly is a stroker motor, and how much do you think it will cost to have done? what will the power be like with toomey t-5's? any feedback would be greatly appreciated Quote
yamaha350 Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 if you want the most power with little cost go with a 7mm. get it ported and run the pistons into the domes. its not much more than a 4mm. crank will run a little more and you have to add the price of trenching the cases. but the power gains are more worth the money for a 7. sell the t5's go with better pipes like cpi. MRMOONEY Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 7mm acording to some pep arent worth the money, if you wana do it right get a 10mm with some monblock cylinders, 7mm may make 5 horse more but its not really worth the money from what i have heard from alot of people anyways Quote
