hey man i need those stock headlights and bumper how much? -
hey guys, im just looking on some basic information of a stroker motor. I want to go fast, and i feel a stroker motor may be the way to go. what does it consist of, what exactly is a stroker motor, and how much do you think it will cost to have done? what will the power be like with toomey t-5's? any feedback would be greatly appreciated

ok so today i installed the 310 mains, moved the jet needle clip setting one groove richer (now the 5'th groove on the toomey jet kit needle) and it ran alot better! smoked a hell of alot but it ran better lol, however i almost killed myself test riding it.........in 3'rd gear the engine revved to the moooon and i had no controll over power, later to find out my right carb is sticking open when i apply full throttle, only sometimes though damn i cant figure why it is sticking. oh and i am running toomey's set up with the uni and air box vents
-
also wat i mean by its not running right, shee runs on half choke and no choke crappy on both
-
ok so heres the deal, when i bought my t-5's and installed their jet kit it was nice out probably well 50 degrees outt, the banshee ran great light brown plugs on 280 mains. Now that it is so cold out shee wont run right, toomey suggests 290 or 300 (for winter in glamis) but how cold is wainter in glamis? i mean its 18 degrees out right now and i dont wanna fry my top end, i bought 310 mains today....should that be sufficent? and im thinking on moving my jet needle clip richer one groove? does this sound ok? thanks for the input guys

help! i always thought compression is higher on warm cylinders....i mean thats how we test the compression on aircraft. ok heres the deal i am running 21cc domes at sea level on a motor that has never been rebuilt i checked cold first and then hot and here is what i found: Cold left- 145 Right-150 Hot Left-137 Right- 135 ?? stumped but ok i never checked the compression prior to installing the 21cc domes. i Know that the 21cc domes should (on a fresh motor) give 157 psi at sea level. basically i dont know where i stand.....do i need to do a top end?? if not then when? what are the compression limits? thanks for all your help guys

LoL its all good, maybe it is not the right kinda avatar to have in a banshee forum haha

Tire Choices For The Banshee?
bizanchee replied to trail rider's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I run the realtors for when it snows out, and they hook up like crazy. Those thick paddles will throw anything you put in its way. The only problem is, they look a little funny on a stock setup because the tires are so big that the ass of the quad will be wide and tall and the front narrow and low a little funny looking but hell they hook up! -
Bird of flames im in babylon, where do you usually ride?
-
I purchased the realtors for the rear and they kick ass in the snow, i really hook up but theres one major problem..... they look so stupid on a stock setup because they are so big that the back is tall and wide..... u need extended a a-rms and larger fronts like 23's to make it look even

Long island ny about 30 miles east of manhatten

Nope just unplug the box, that should eliminate the TORS as a culprit. I would deffinately suggest you invest in the Tors eliminator kit in the future though
-
to disconnect the tors there is a little black brain about 1''x1'' under the gas tank on the left hand side of the frame ....just unplug it and make sure you put some rtv silicone in the plugs to seal out water, or you can opt to go for the tors eliminator kit.... good luck
-
same thing i was wondering.....i like the roll design gull wing a-arms but i think those are the ones u need longer cuz they are extended travel but a regular a arm setup like amadillo or lsr u should be fine

Would Changing Gear Sizes On My Shee Help
bizanchee replied to sandbanshee1818's topic in General Banshee Discussion
ok so deffinately change the front, but how much of a differance will one tooth make .... will it deffinately be substantial? like if i go to a 15 front will i dramatically loose low end=no more wheelies -
at see level though where should i be at compression wise with the 21cc domes on a "new top end" roughly so i can calculate when i should re-ring. maybe ill just do it as preventative maintenance
-
You will not receive an accurate compression reading on cold cylinders. The reaon for this is heat=expansion. On a cold cylinder you are getting more"blowby" the rings. Warm your machine up good, and then immediately take the reading......i assure you it will be alot higher, just becareful you dont burn yourself

Good old kerosene works wonders cleaning old crusted up grease and dirt off your frame and engine...just wear gloves, the smell wont leave your hands for a while if you dont

Toomey T-5's!!!!!! Dont let anyone tell ya they are a high end pipe, man they pull hard from idle to the moon
