i was wondering if anyone out there has works triple rate shocks,i just got some today(used $300.00).what i was wondering is can you ajust preload on them if so how?I'm not sure if there set up for my weight but i figured for the price,how could i go wrong sence there rebuildable.anyways any help would be great.

on the works, you need to compress the spring then adjust it by the clips that are on the top of the collar on the spring, if your not sure if they will work for you, take them to a place that services shocks and have them set it up the right way, well worth the extra money to do this and they can adjust the pre load while there doing it.

There are spacer rings you can use...that third spring I find is way to soft. I had a set of triple rates. They worked ok..but they were always too soft even after I had them revalved and ended up bending the shaft. You add the spacers until you get it at the right ride height.
