NickyPap Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 I was thinkin' about getting shocks w/ piggy backs, seem more easy/clean to me. Are there any pros/cons between each other? Quote
fixitrod Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 I love those elka's with piggyback. Quote
Blue Duece Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 depending on who made them, the piggy back will have a larger valve to the piggy back rez than the 1/4" line to the remote rez.....making the shock run a pinch cooler Quote

efward Posted January 30, 2004 Author Report Posted January 30, 2004 i got mine all tucked and lean. went to mckenzies offroad and bought some sand rail resi clamps, 40.00 bucks vs the 80 to 100 the shock companys want and mounted it on the down tube of the frame in front of the radiator. cans sit in the air duct and it helps them stay cool. Hey Evil, I went and looked at a sandrail shop myself for those rez clamps. They had em there for $25 a piece. I've seen em for a lot more elsewhere. What size did you end up getting from them? They had a lot of differnt sizes for both frame and reservoir opening. Anyone know anywhere else with good prices for billet reservoir clamps and billet brake line clamps? Quote
