itsmyforte Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 finally finished putting this shee back together completely ready to ride. what octane should i run in a basic stock engine. compression is 125 per side. gas right now in the tank is 87 mixed with klotz techniplate @ 32:1 have motofast 2:1 pipe and stock carbs, stock airbox with k&n adapter and filter, NO lid. Checkmate Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 you don't need anything special as far as octane with your setup. but when i had a stock motor i would pay the extra .20 cents a gallon for the 93 octane. Quote
