ok ive always heard -2 for mx racing as it hooks up better, but my 2 friends who race pro 400ex's say go with extended, so now im confused, which one would be better to use?

tell the guy with the ex to look at the relationship between his front end and motor then look at your banshee's........... go - 2.....your gonna wonna hook up on the track and maybe turn a corner, hit a whoop or two and so on........

Actually -1 swingarm and a +1 forward A-arms is the best. Of course the A-arm would be a +2 or +3 wide also.

actually you can get -1 from taking a link out of your chain.....cut 2 inches out of yor swing arm

sweet, i already have +2+1 aarms that i put on this summer form a j-a arm conversion and i have a -2 swingarm on the way, just wanted to make sure i was right, thanks

Sounds like you're on the right track. You won't regret it. As for your buddies with the EX's...for MX on a 400ex many people will extend the swingarm +1. I wouldn't mind doing that to the g/f's EX sometime. But she'll wait until I got the banshee how I want it...probably never. :P hehe Ride on! B)
