89 bansheedude Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 will a k&n fiter fit on the proflow adapter plate with the foam filter on it. i heard the you have to have a hole different adaptor plate fro the k&n. im wanting a k&n for the shee with a outerware but affried to get it, so im wanting to know if it will fit on the proflow adapter plat with the uni foam filter on it. thanks, jayare Quote

efward Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 Short answer. No it wont work. The plates are two different sizes. The foam filter setup has a samller oval opening than the bolt on type. I agree with the stock plate suggestion. Bolt it on and go! Quote
