Cutting a +4 swing arm to stock length.

Has anyone ever had success getting a +4 stellar cut to stock length? I want to keep the round style carrier and the drag axle but want closer to stock length.  Obviously I could buy a stock length but it’s hard to figure out all the parts that work with different styles

Yes. I cut a Stellar +12 down to +8 once. Not hard at all. Keep it square. Weld it up.

I kept the +4 whole for drag racing.  This 465 driveline is gonna be a handful on the stock length arm I picked up.
