Sebastian Ramos Posted January 2, 2025 Report Posted January 2, 2025 Hello, I had some questions on my build. I am not too savvy as this will be my first full bottom end rebuild so please bear with me. I am doing a rebuild on my banshee and decided to go 4mil stroker. I currently just got set of new stock 350 Alpha Cub cylinders, with pro design cool head, wiseco 795 series pistons, got some 28s pwk style carbs running with pods. I'm planning on getting a set of t5s and set that up on 4 mil. I will be going with cut domes instead of plate and wanted to see what size domes best fit what I have running at around 3700ft above sea level mostly dune riding. Also Ive seen alot of people swap transmission with promod but also wanted a second opinion if it is needed. Thanks in advance. Quote
kawa110 Posted January 4, 2025 Report Posted January 4, 2025 Pro mod trans is great, makes shifting so nice! Bang through the gears without actually ruining them. Call Jeff at F.a.s.t. Tell him your setup, he will get you the proper domes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
trickedcarbine Posted January 12, 2025 Report Posted January 12, 2025 Hit up Noss Machine for the domes. But first, get it assembled and the cylinder torqued in place. Then measure your deck height. That’s the height of the edge of the piston at TDC to the deck of the cylinder. You can measure it a few ways. Get the most compression you can out of your desired fuel and add some timing and you should have decent bottom end. Tyson Racing or Joe Molinari can get you sorted on the Pro Mod. Quote
