GGcastro Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 I’m running a 421 on 110 with a +6 swingarm and 9 paddle hauler 74 rollout what sprocket set up should I run to be able to take off in 2nd and still have top end? Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 Probably not much more than stock. How much do you weigh? What's on there now? Quote
GGcastro Posted December 31, 2024 Author Report Posted December 31, 2024 I weigh about 130 pounds and right now it has a 15/41 Quote

shee4202 Posted February 6, 2025 Report Posted February 6, 2025 Hello all, I think this would be the best place to post this but let me know if it should go into another forum. I was cleaning my rear sprocket (Sunstar 3679) and I noticed a crack between the teeth that runs through to both sides. I don't really think it's the best idea to chance using it anymore, probably best just to get a new one. What is the best sprocket on the market these days? Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 6, 2025 Report Posted February 6, 2025 Go with new sprockets and chain from Driveline. https://drivelineperformance.com/yamaha/banshee/sprockets/ https://drivelineperformance.com/yamaha/banshee/chain/ Quote
shee4202 Posted February 6, 2025 Report Posted February 6, 2025 Awesome, and thanks for the quick response. I'll take a look at them links now. Quote
shee4202 Posted February 6, 2025 Report Posted February 6, 2025 What do you think of JT sprockets? Also what do you think about steel vs aluminum? I imagine the carbon steel would hold up better in the long run, but you get the benefit of less weight with aluminum. Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 6, 2025 Report Posted February 6, 2025 Steel will last way longer. What’s wrong with the Driveline? Quote
shee4202 Posted February 7, 2025 Report Posted February 7, 2025 Oh nothing, I just like to see all of my options and understand the difference in materials, heat treatments, coatings etc. I'm a metalography/materials technician so I guess it's first nature to look at those kinds of things. Why would someone choose aluminum, looks? Quote
