Lock out clutch cover

Think i am finally going to buy a clutch cover. Looking at the modquad that fast carries and the direct drive covers. I have xrf nerf bars and the modquad says you need to space the foot peg. Not sure if that will work. Does the directdrive covers have the same issue?
