Does anyone know what this sound is this guy had the same issue on his bike that I now currently have on mine. And it was never clear what the issue was any input would help.

Sounds like crank.

Some times theyll stay that way, for a while... sometimes the grenade 

 

Just eliminate all external stuff1st ie. exh springs...

I’ll be doing that this weekend when I head up north. I appreciate the help it sat for 15 years before I got it so a rebuild was expected in the near future I just didn’t think so soon.
