HELP!!! The claw arm on my shift shaft isn’t connecting with my star. I’m going crazy! Any ideas?

HELP! Please…. My new shift shaft is installed and the claw isn’t grabbing the star. What am I ñdoing wrong? The deterant atm does have the bearing and I did very carefully cut the notches out a little more. I’ve messed with the eccentric screw I just can’t get it. HELP PLEASE.
