It started and ran perfectly starting first kick every time. a couple days ago I let my brother ride it one time and it died on him and it lost all spark. I thought it was the stator so I replaced it but now it only has spark sometimes randomly. I cant seem to figure what's going on. Anyone got any suggestions? JerzOutlaw350 Posted July 18, 2023 Report Share Posted July 18, 2023 We all know the OEM stator is expensive AF but there is nothing you can really do. As for an aftermarket stator I would trust a Ricky Stator over a Vito’s Performance stator any day of the week. About 3-1/2 years ago I bought a Ricky Stator with the adjustable timing plate for a neighbor’s banshee that I was working on and till this day he hadn’t had a problem with the stator other than the flywheel went bad a few months ago.
