It started and ran perfectly starting first kick every time. a couple days ago I let my brother ride it one time and it died on him and it lost all spark. I thought it was the stator so I replaced it but now it only has spark sometimes randomly. I cant seem to figure what's going on. Anyone got any suggestions? Quote

As for an aftermarket stator I would trust a Ricky Stator over a Vito’s Performance stator any day of the week. About 3-1/2 years ago I bought a Ricky Stator with the adjustable timing plate for a neighbor’s banshee that I was working on and till this day he hadn’t had a problem with the stator other than the flywheel went bad a few months ago.
