I Want To Start A New Project, Drag Banshee

First off I want to start from the frame and do almost everything myself.... Is it pretty simple as long as you have the money? Putting it together etc..... Not counting the engine componets.

Also about hot much $$$ would you need to dump into an engine to reach 100mph, thats my goal.

from a stock shee prolly about 3-5 grand... and gear high, just an estimate, ask around or maybe in the performance shops forum they might help ya there

if you lighten it up your self,cut off all the useless bracketry.and are not looking for looks.100 mph is not hard to get there,it`s how fast you get there.if you want an asphalt dragster at a budget price it can be done relatively cheap .with an alky conversion.pm me if you are serious,i can get you a good price on converting your carbs, swingarm,and porting.let me know.

look in the classifieds. i have a complete drag bike for sale. you wont even build a stock framed dragger for that kinda money. you'd be better off buying one already built. just a thought.

1. Add GSXR 750 engine, should fit well.

2. Slicks.

3. Make pipes.

 

Less than 3 grand to spend to start the project and it should do the trick on the strip.
