  1. well to be quite honest, after the west coast race, dan and i got to talking and decided we should just try a whole bunch of diff types of paddles next race...so one of the sets was a some staggered 16 xtremes. we could sit on the phone for 2hrs talking ourselves into believing these tires may work, but then again they may not work better than a set of 10 haulers. what i find interesting is a handful of ppl are already buying/ordering this particular tire now, and they dont even know if they will work any better than what they already have.
  2. interesting.
  3. which paddles did you get?
  4. sounds good jim. they have to goto dan's shop first. he's got my wheels there... i just hope those tires work for us.
  5. not to mention the chassis, the wheels/tires, the hardware it takes to get it all together, the 100 trips to ACE and home depot to build the bike, the countless hrs in the shop, the nitrous setup, the paint, the chrome, the polishing, the tuning, the knowledge to make it all work together... it will all add up to one helluva bill.
  6. for a nice big strong running twin motor, you can spend over 10grand just for the motor...
  7. hello, chalk up another one of PS's assholes to this site.
  8. pipes may be hitting up front by radiator on top frame rail as well
  9. to check the clutch, adjust the cable back how it should be...1/16 slack, line the arrows up on the engine cases... now go putt-putting around 5-10mph, pull clutch in, shift to 4th or 5th gear, rev it to the moon, dump the clutch...now if the bike takes off line it would normally in a low gear, ur clutch needs replacing...if it bogs, the clutch is good
  10. still for sale, anyone??
  11. i am willing to sell it in parts. whole motor...with no pipes or carbs, prolly 4700, i wont separate cyls, dont be silly
  12. dont want to separate. if i had to, id sell motor, pipes, carbs and stator and crap for 6k
  13. look in the classifieds. i have a complete drag bike for sale. you wont even build a stock framed dragger for that kinda money. you'd be better off buying one already built. just a thought. jon

  15. i am willing to negotiate a price on this bike. i had a buyer but he backed out bc he blew up his truck that he races as well. i really need to get the bike out of my garage bc i have a new bike coming in. the motor as most of you know is a 10mm stroker 71mm bore t-rex motor done by dan hull. i recently tore the motor down to replace the pistons, clutch, clutch cushions, shift forks, and reeds. it runs cpi big bore pipes which are chromed that were made for the motor. it has a 1-5 rudy kurtz override. the engine cases are 2001 banshee cases, and the frame is a 2000 lonestar +4 in front, and +8 chrome aero tube swingarm(it is equivalent to a +10 stretch in the rear bc the swingarm bolt is pushed 2" back from the motor as opposed to a stock frame) it has a fully functional wheely bar made of chromoly. everything is powder coated/chromed/polished. this bike didnt skip one corner when it was built. the motor puts out over 120rwhp on dan's dyno(yes it is correct!) i have gone 3.90's with this bike and 4.0's all day. side winder non oring chain, sidewinder sprockets. it has a direct drive lockup clutch. runs stock ignition(bc thats what i found the most power with, dyno proven) the axle is in great shape as far as the splines go. all new bearings were installed when i had the frame powdercoated in the beginning of this past season. the crank was put in during late may and has only been raced a few times since. front and back fullbore race plastics that have been custom airbrushed to perfection. together, the bike weighs 268lbs with wheely bar and with all fuel and oils. the motor uses 38mm keihin air strykers bored to 39.5mm, and also has new v-force reeds. the complete motor is fully polished to a mirror. please pm me or post any questions you may have regarding this bike. i can also get more pictures, close ups etc etc. i am not looking to trade. i need money for this bike
