I dont think they should make a new race style 450 quad. I think they should make another big bore quad like the raptor or DS 650 and maybe have an all new look instead of copying something else.

I think if they seriously want to compete with Yamaha & Honda (which by signing Doug Gust it's pretty apparent that they do), they should follow Honda's lead and keep the Z400 as a trail machine like the 400ex, and come out with a 450. We'll see what happens.

yea suzuki's gotta keep up with all the other big names and there big quads, soon im sure youll be seing a 1000cc quad before long, made by every company, but a 405, i think they should do more research and get a 450 if they wanna keep up with the yammy and honda

The story with the GasGas is not the wide front end, its the factory caster setting. They are street legal in Spain\Europe so they layed the caster back pretty good. This makes it stable at high road speeds, but quick handling is diminished. The Ohlins shocks are also valved all wrong, the extreme caster and goofed up front shocks make the quad handle like a turd. All the mags say the 300 2 stroke is great little engine, the focker is powervalved to boot. They come with a full chomoly frame...... yes... chrooooomoly frame, dual piston front and rear brake calipers, honda style axle carrier, nerf bars, and an FMF pipe. I like to have one if they ever dial-in the front end. I like the idea of a modern 300cc powervalve motor in a chromoly frame.

Here's a picture of a 300cc GasGas I took at the Rausch Creek GNCC
